A Board of Directors governs the CNSF. The Board consists of two members (the President and Vice President) from each of the four Societies, the President and two Vice-Presidents of the Board who are appointed from the general membership of the four Societies, one Neurology or Neurosurgery resident (alternating), the immediate Past-Chair of the Board (non-voting), and the CNSF CEO (non-voting). The Governance Committee consists of the CNSF President and the Presidents of the 4 member Societies, who serve as a nominating committee.

Your Congress Abstract Book is included with the May issue of the Journal. There will not be another distribution of the Abstract Book at the Congress, so bring your Abstract book with you for reference during poster and platform sessions.

- Full registrants can attend all sessions of the 2008 Annual Congress from Tuesday, June 17 through Friday, June 20.
- Includes the Presidents' Reception and the Presidents' Dinner, plus lunch in the Exhibit Hall on Thursday and Friday.
- One-day registrants can attend scientific sessions only, on one of, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday
- Does not include the Presidents' Reception, or the Presidents' Dinner, but tickets are available for purchase for these events.
- Delegates must wear their badges at all times to gain entry to Congress Courses, Scientific Sessions and evening events. Tickets will be collected for the Presidents’ Reception and the Presidents’ Dinner for those who have purchased extra tickets.
- All registration cancellation requests must be made in writing and received by Advance Group, before May 6, 2008.
- A $50 cancellation fee will apply.
- No refunds will be issued for requests received after May 6, 2008.

Please support the CNSF Congress by booking your accommodations in one of the official Congress hotels, the Fairmont Empress (where the largest block is available) or the Marriott. Accommodations reserved elsewhere may be less expensive but in reality you and the CNSF lose benefits, such as: Complimentary meeting space for the Congress, for committee meetings and social activities.
If we don’t fill our block, especially at the Empress the CNSF Congress pays substantial penalty fees and ultimately these penalties result in a more expensive Congress next year. So please help us by staying at one of our Official hotels!

Victoria Conference Centre. Socialize with your friends and colleagues. Business attire. Hors d'oeuvres and two complimentary tickets then a cash bar. This is the main social event of the Congress, it is hors d'oeuvres only, it is not dinner and is not included with registration. All attendees must purchase tickets for $35.00, which will need to be presented at the door.

The Canadian Journal of Neurological Sciences is the official publication of the four member societies of the CNSF, publishing original work in both the clinical and basic neuro-sciences. The Journal encourages publication of papers from all branches of the neurosciences. The circulation is currently 1,600 and it is distributed in Canada, USA and abroad.
